It is a holistic approach to counselling/therapy that includes body-based techniques as well as cognitive approaches to heal from stress and trauma.
Each therapy session typically lasts 50 minutes. However, when we start processing techniques, we might need to extend the time. We'll discuss and agree on this as we progress together.
A standard therapy session costs £50 on a pay-as-you-go basis. For better value, I offer monthly plans that reduce the cost per session. If we decide to extend a session, the price will increase accordingly, and we'll discuss this when arranging the extended session.
There is no maximum or minimum amount and I don't offer set sessions, we all heal differently in different time scales. You can continue working with me for as long as you feel necessary, and when you feel your therapeutic journey with me is over we can end sessions.
There is no set frequency for attending therapy sessions. You can choose to attend weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Bi-weekly sessions are often optimal as they provide enough time to implement techniques, maintain regular contact, and are cost-effective. Ultimately, the frequency is up to you.
Before you book a session we must have an initial consultation, this is completely free and allows us to get to know each other. The therapeutic relationship is vital for healing, so it is important we establish if I am the right therapist for you before we work together.
